Name that tune!

To all the procrastinating, overwhelmed, heavy burdened souls out there! Including myself at times...but only when it is rainy outside! Sunshine spreads a thick layer of creamy sweet "life is great" icing on my little cupcake of worry! And with that said on to the game!

I'm not gonna stop, not gonna stop till I get my shot. That's who I am, that is my plan, will I end up on top you can...

Have fun!

To the Pumpkin Patch.

Today was a great day. Shane called me around 2pm and said he was on his way back to work after being at a clients for the afternoon. I was chatting with him about stuff when I heard the garage door open! Hooray...He came home early! That was a great surprise because we (me & kids) haven't seen him pretty much since Monday the 10th. He has been working late because of Oct 15th deadlines and then on Friday we took him to the Airport! He was able to go to the BYU game this weekend in Vegas with a bunch of his college buddies! So long story short...we were all excited to see him!

So, since Dad was home we decided to go to the pumpkin patch and pick us some great pumpkins! And as always...Mom was ready with the camera to capture great shots because fyi...that pumpkin patch is a great backdrop for fabulous pictures!

The kids had so much fun running around and crawling thru the hay tunnels! Ty walked around pointing to the pumpkins saying "baaa" which translated means "ball". Alli was looking for the best "medium round" pumpkin. She wants to put a skeleton on her pumpkin! Andrew walked all over the pumpkins like they were stepping stones! It was great fun! There were not a lot of people around and we had rain free weather! It was a great afternoon spent with the family! Oh...and I did get some great shots!

p.s. -- Blogger is having technical difficulties so I will post more pics tomorrow!

Attention!!!

As of October 13, 2007 the Rushing Family will no longer be accepting germs in any form or level. We graciously received our quota for the year around July and have been overwhelmed with the amount of eager germs, bacterias and viruses that we have been filling back orders for the last 3 months. However, the CEO/COO and the CFO have jointly discussed that because of the overwhelming response we must stop accepting all and any shape/form of any and all of the above stated entities. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause to any of you who may still be awaiting entrance but we must close our doors for the remainder of the year. In the new year insurance will be adjusted and our status will be evaluated and it will be at that time that we will make an announcement as to whether germs will be allowed again. We hope this does not create any ill feelings. Thank you again for your understanding in this matter.

Sincerely,

Julie Rushing
CEO/COO
The Rushing Family, LLC.

Okay so that was a very long drawn out expression of my frustration. I need a creative outlet. That is why I have this blog right? Well today we learned that Andrew has Molluscum. It is like a chicken pox virus but it is not chicken pox. He has little pimple like bumps all over his body. Today he went to the Dermatologist and he had around 10-12 bumps on his neck alone treated with acid!!!! Yeah we are excited for the next 24 hrs when he will be extremely contagious!
It seems that washing hands, germ lotion, lysol disinfectant, clorox wipes are not enough to keep my family healthy! Ty has had a continuous cold since ohhh...August? We have had the stomach flu ohhh...3-4 times with the potential for more! And now we have Mollescum that will be hanging round for the next 2-4 months if we are lucky! So, I thought if I posted a note to all of our little germy friends to stay away...our quota has been met!

More Card Co????

Today in the car I experienced something I think every "Mom" should experience! We had just dropped off a lady in the ward we took to a Dr. appt. As I am backing out the drive way Alli asks...

Alli: Mom are you a Super Mom?
Me: Well I don't know? Do you think I am a Super Mom?
Alli: No. (Right away with no hesitation I might add)
Me: Oh okay.
Andrew: I think you are a Super Mom! (he yells that from the back back seat)
Alli: You have to do MORE Card Co. to be a Super Mom.
Me: I have to do more huh?
Alli: Yes, And if you do more THEN...you will be a Super Mom!
Andrew: I think you are already a Super Mom and you don't have to do any more!!!! (I checked his nose when we got home and...of course its not brown! He is my boy!)
Me: Well we will have to tell your Dad that if I do MORE Card Co that makes me a Super Mom then wont we!

So funny! Oh the things that go on in her sweet little brain! I am happy to know that there are things that I can improve upon to become that ever elusive "Super Mom" title! At least I only have one thing and I am sure that I can fix that fairly fast!

So KiKi...you want it you got it baby!

The "Feldman's Tooth Curse" strikes again!!

One early morning oh lets say Wednesday September 5th, as we were hurrying along to prepare for school my sweet Andrew was destined to take a shower. Well, his shower was a momentous occasion...After being in the shower for what seemed to Mommy like forever and continuously reminding him that he can't just stand there under the water he has to get the soap and scrub! So as he was finishing up I was chasing Ty and prodding Alli along because just like the day before...we were going to be late to school!!!! I came to get Andrew out of the shower and when I pulled back the curtain he was looking at me with big scared brown eyes. He was semi shaking as he held up his fingers and said "My tooth was loose and it came out!" I immediately started to freak out like any other good mother would do. "What happened?" "Did you fall?" "WHAT HAPPENED?" He proceeded to tell me as he started to cry that he slipped and knocked his (bottom front) tooth out. Of course he wasn't crying until Mom lost it! So I took the tooth and thought..."There is no way I can put this thing back in so...Okay he will have a hole in his smile for awhile...Thank goodness it is not his top front tooth! So there you have it. And then instead of crying over "spilt milk" or should I say "another tooth sacrifice to the Feldman Tooth Gods" we started to plan for the Tooth Fairy. (I guess the curse struck us again because technically we didn't sacrifice a tooth when Alli had a bit of a run in with this darn curse.) Andrew informed me that "bad teeth get a penny and good teeth get a dollar. So that night we put his first tooth under his pillow! He was excited to see what the Tooth Fairy had in store...Penny or Dollar? What do you think?
