Lyla Marie is 5 months old! She is growing so fast. I try really hard to get her to smile for the camera, videos, etc but she seems to be more fascinated with the objects I am holding so it is rare to capture a smile. She is such a delight and really is a great baby! Here are some tidbits about Lyla:
She loves to laugh, smile, and observe her older brothers and sister. Who needs baby toys when you have Ty right in your face?
She is 13 lbs. 11 oz.
She sleeps through the night!!
She doesn't take a binky and prefers her hand, fingers, thumbs.
In the morning you can find her in her crib sucking those fingers and cooing. Just chillin' until Mom or Dad come get her.
She doesn't sit without assistance.
She gets passed around from kid to kid wanting to "hold Lyla". No one ever tires of carrying her around...well sometimes I do. My muscles give out after awhile, not my love for her!
She does not have any teeth yet drools like some are coming.
She has a bottle put into her routine not because she needs more food but because Mommy needs her to take a bottle sometimes. (I learned my lesson with the binky!)
When you play with her and make faces she will either laugh or stare at you like "that ain't funny!" Her stares make us laugh!
We love her so much and are happy to have her join (or rule) our family!!!
